Gate Apron Rehabilitation & Drainage Improvements (GARDI) Concourse B - SE Quadrant, Colorado

Denver International Airport has implemented a program to repair the pavement around the gates. Over 20 years of use has resulted in deteriorated pavements and outdated fuel distribution and drainage systems. The GARDI SE project rehabilitated B gates 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52, 56, 58 and 60.

In addition to conventional airfield pavement reconstruction, the project included removal of access to the abandoned automated baggage system, repair of the concourse wall, and jet bridge upgrades. After removals and repair of electrical, drainage and fuel systems, IHC repaired the cement treated base and paved 45,000 sy of 12”, 17” and 21” PCCP.
